A session of heavy rain (during early morning preparation and the first leg or two of the relay) subsided for the following runners as the teams worked their way up the Niagara Parkway to Stanley and up around a few turns to Oakes Park to the final laps to the cheers of their team mates and others who have gathered.
The gray skies didn’t dampen the great energy of all the teams as they ended up at the park to the upbeat sounds provided by Shotgun Entertainment.
Race Director Dave gave a short speech, thanking Title Sponsor, Lifetime Financial Planning Group and all the other sponsors.
The Runner’s Edge team (pictured above) had the fastest time and set a new course record. A great time seemed to be had be all! Thank you to the 2017 participants, volunteers, and supporters!
